Hello. pull the knob off and turn the stem to see if your actual problem is that the knob is worn on the inside.

If the stem makes the volume work properly either order a new knob or do what I usually do...........just get some crazy glue and put a drop or two inside the hole and then slide it onto the stem and let it dry.

Kenwood KA 995 amp. volume control, as you increase or decrease the sound, a loud clicking sound is heard.

Katrina, this sounds like a dirty potentiometer (volume control knob). Try turning the unit off, and exercising the knob. That means turn it full turns, many times, like 70 times. Then try it again with power. Sometimes this helps.

Kenwood kr 5050 volume stuck on high cant change

These days the circuit of the volume control is controlled by an IC in modern amps. These can go faulty preventing adjustment of the sound by the volume control. The only cure is to find the IC and replace it. You can start in the area where the volume control is located. If it's not mounted direct on the PC board, follow the connections to the board. Hopefully the board might have writing on it to indicate the area where the faulty IC is.

I have a Kenwood KC 105 preamp and the volume is stuck on high. I turn the volume knob but it does nothing. Any suggestions?

Looks like you are going to have to replace the potentiometer, AKA volume control. It must be shorted out inside (probably) or knob came off the shaft. (doubtful)

How do you switch speakers to rear of vehicle from front of car. I have a Kenwood kdc mp 4029

Hello my friend, Ok you can do one of two things, you can try this link, http://manual.kenwood.com/files/B64-2928-00_En.pdf

or you can email me and i can send you the pdf user manual. butcher960@btinternet.com

By what i have found is if you turn on the unit and press the volume button until you come to Fader, you then turn the volume knob left or right to change the sound from front to back, Colin.

Volume

If the volume control does nothing them spraying it will do nothing. If it is noisy when you turn it but the volume does change them you can try to spray it with cleaner. You cannot do this from the front; only from the inside and only if the volume control is not sealed.
