click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar hope this helps
You have to reinstall the audio driver of your motherboard. You can reinstall that by using the cd that came with the motherboard. If you dont have the cd anymore, open your pc and look for the brand name and model of your motherboard and download the driver from the internet. Check also for other devices if needs reinstalling the drivers. You can check it by opening the control panel, click "system" then click "device manager". There you can see if all your devices are working perfectly. If you can see a question mark beside the device, you have to reinstall the driver for that particular device.
Try to re-install your audio driver !! Also go to add and remove and remove media player and then go and re-install windows media player again( probably a newer version ) should work!!! swampratt200 AAAEEE!!!!!
I doubt the speakers need a driver. Is there output from the soundcard? Connect the speakers to an alternate audio source, such as the headphone jack of a CD player or radio. If the speakers produce sound, the problem is probably with your soundcard. Recheck your soundcard installation and setup procedure. Consult the sound card’s manual. Check the “mute” and “volume” controls on your soundcard or media player software and keyboard. Are the speakers connected properly? Make sure the plugs are securely connected in the proper location according to their colorcoding and the diagram on th front of this manual. Make sure the left speaker wire with the white stripe is connected to the (+) speaker terminal on the subwoofer.
did u install sound card drivers
if u install correctly go to control panel and sound
check there whether audio device is showing or not. if not u didnt install ur audio otherwise u installed correctly but the problem is in ur speaker.
And Happy Holidays
well, as you can see depending on your audio card, and output power, and sound settings on control panel, if is all up, or down.
you can try that first. But if not work is and Audio Card, type of power output, ....in that case you can change your audio card, if an onboard audio, place a PCI and will be ok, Creative labs models makes diff.
