Speaker damage.....

I have aprox. the same headset, only it has two ear buds(stereo) and my right one was damaged therefore leaving me with only one working ear bud!!! I tried to replace the speaker inside with one from a cheap Sony Ericsson replica but the problem is the volume in my right ear bud is lower than the one in the left(the original) and so is the bass!!! Can I solve this problem or where can I find a speaker that sounds the same???Any help is much apreciated!!!
