Problem for Dell (8N816) Motherboard

My inspiron 5160 doesnt power up.

Hi,

My dell inspiron 5160 laptop doesnt power up and is completely dead, even if i tried with other power adaptor.
Is it the problem with motherboard or battery or any other problem.
Can you please help me in getting my laptop work.

It should power up with the external power supply if it is working properly; you can remove the batteries and it should still work with the external source. If not, then the power section on the laptop is dead and needs servicing.
