I got new Sigma 18-200 DC II lens, with Canon EOS 5D Mark II it has black lens frame is visible through viewfinder or on the photo. Does it mean this lens is not compatible with 5DmrkII?

The EOS 50d Mark II is what's known as a "full-frame" camera. Its image sensor is the same size as a frame of 35mm film. The Sigma DC lens is intended for cameras with smaller sensors. The lens is compatible in that it will work with the camera to take pictures, but the pictures are cropped due to the smaller imaging area of the lens.

In order to use the full image sensor area you need to use full-frame lenses. In the case of Sigma, this means lenses without the DC designation.

Fuji S5200 view finder reads Frame No. Full

Go into setup menu by pressing menu, scroll to >set< then scroll to >frame number< and change the default 'cont' to 'renew' Save the new setting and leave the set-up menu. That should solve your problem.

!FRAME NO. FULL

Save all pictures to your computer.
Turn camera on, press the menu/ok button, select Setup, press ok.
select Frame No., change Frame No. to Renew, press ok.
Leave Setup.
Press the menu/ok button, select Setup, press ok again.
Select Format, press ok / ok until the card is formatted.
Now the counter should start over with 100.0001 again.
Set Frame No. back to Cont. to avoid to many images with the same filename.

Frame full

I had the same problem with a fujifilm camera, the good news is that it's easy to fix. On the shooting menu (press menu when the camera is in shooting mode) there will usually be a set-up option, within that you should see "Frame No." or something similar- the two options for this are either "continuous" or "renew". If you are experiencing the Frame no. full error it means that you are currently set to continuous; TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM SWITCH THIS SETTING TO RENEW.

Hope this helps!

Full frame??

Hello to all. Well after a few tries I figuered it out, all you do is hold down the arrow pointing > to the right at the back and thats it full screen, I guess pressing the arrow < pointing to the left reduces the size again. Just remember to hold it down for a few seconds.Hope I was helpful, take care all.. Happy Holidays
