You will need to have a service technician come out. It could be a fuse out on the board, a bad board or several other problems in the circuit that can only be determined by a professional on site.

Bad igniter? Could be a safety control telling the furnace not to light. Check to see if the furnace has a diagnostic indicator. If so count the flashes and then check the diagnostics list inside the door or in the owners manual. This should narrow the problem down.

My 1995 4runner backdoor or window won't open

Does the back interior light work? if no, chances are you have the #1 problem with back windows in 4runners, a connection under the back door panel, works itself loose, just plug it back together tight.otherwise check the fuse.#2 if that doesn't work did you bump into the back door, motor placement is sensitive to dings, and gets stuck. if not those prob a motor? i think i am not a mechanic.

Furnance fan works, but the burnrs won't ignite

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. First thing to do is go to the furnace and look in the small peep hole in the lower blower door and see if there is an led light that is flashing a certain number of blinks record the number and look for a diagnostic chart on the inside of the blower door or the upper side panel of the furnace if there is no flash code present you can try resetting the power to the furnace and see if the furnace will fire up.

Will need to know model and seriel of furnace - sounds like a dirty or defective flame sensor. Flame sensor can usually be cleaned by simply wiping it with a slightly abrasive paper, or 0000 steel wool. Most electronic ignition types have a diagnostic code generally located on the ignition control, and depending on the number of "blinks" from the diagnostic light it will tell you why the unit did not fire.

York gas furnace doesn't come on at all. It has electronic ignition, thermostat seems ok, circuit breaker Ok. There is nothing going on at all. It doesn't try to light.

First find the electronic control board. Is the diagnostic light on and flashing a code? If not look for the automotive type fuse on the board. It is a 3 amp. Is it blown? Next look for a screw in fuse in the ssu switch on the side of the furnace. Is it blown? If all the fuses are good is the door switch behind the front cover working? Is the door properely installed? If all these items are working, you should have power to the furnace. If these items are ok, check for 24volts at the transformer. Check the terminals not black and white. If you have voltage there, remove the red and white thermostat wires on the control board. Next take jump wire and jump the red and white terminals. This rules out the stat and stat wiring. Your furnace should start. Check the status light for any further problems and crossreference the flashing light code to fix.

Try setting it to 67 or 68, and see if it does the same. also, check the diagnostic light, probably visible through the lower furnace door. If so, shut down, take off the doors and find the diagnostic codes ,usually on the inside of the lower door.check blinks when it shuts down first.

With the thermostat off the furnace will come. the small motor above the pressure switch, The red light will flash 2 time fast then 2 times slow. what is my problem

Diagnostic codes are different on each furnace. Try taking the door off to the blower compartment. Inside this door you should find a list of the diagnostic codes. This chart should help guide you toward determining the problem.
Good luck.....

Goodman Heater

This furnace has a diagnostic light on the control board found in the lower section of the furnace. Pilots are a thing of the past and your system has a glow ignitor. Look thru a small viewing port to see how many blinks are being displayed. Then remove the access panel and on the reverse side of it is a diagnostic chart that will tell you where to start looking. I would suggest you make sure the air filter is clean and that the condensation is being removed. Recycle the furnace with either the breaker or emergency switch. You can cycle the furnace with the front cover off if you tape the door switch closed. It may be easier to view the sequence of operation to pick up on where the fault is occuring.
