Fridge should be around 35 degrees F. The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

Drawer Freezer. Doesn't completely freeze food

Good Morning Stacey, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is not freezing food properly. What temperature is your refrigerator set to? How much do you have packed into the freezer? Is this a new refrigerator? Could you also provide me with your model number? You can locate the serial (which lists your model number) on the inside wall of your fresh food side. Once I have that additional information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt

My food in the fridge section is freezing in my Frigidaire fqe6307sae. How do I know if it is the thermostat and how do I adjust the temperature on the display?

I could check the freezer for ice build up. clean the door seals and make sure the freezer isn't overloaded. Too much food or improper sealing of the doors will make the compressor work harder in cooling down the freezer which in turn freezes the fridge part.

good luck

Refrigerator side freezing and cannot control temp.

099b99d4-9ea3-4dba-a2ca-6c92989fe8af.jpgLook and see if the air damper called a=> 5304482075 Temperature Control Thermostat is opening and closing after selecting a different temperature. This along with the termostat are what controls the fresh food section temperatures. I am here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Fridgidaire refrigerator flashing error code 4

From what I remember a flashing 4 means "damper error". Send your model number found inside or on the outside of the fresh food section, The air damper is found between the freezer and fresh food section and regulates temperature in the fresh food section by opening wide for things that warm up your fresh food section example would be opening the door and letting warm air inside . The damper then closes to keep the right temperature. If you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze

Frigidaire refrigerator not cooling or freezing

Is the compressor running? Do you hear it running or do you feel it vibrating slightly and being warm? What temperatures are the refrigerator and freezer section at? Has the unit defrosted at all recently, and have you cleared the vents inside of food items (no blockages) and cleaned the coil and vents underneath the unit?

What's a good temp. setting for the food/beverage section

Hi,
If you set the temperature below about 37 you run the risk of somethings freezing...but milk should be as close to 40 as possible, so I usually recommend a setting of about 39.

Frozen food in fridge

Start with a total clean, vacuum and defrost. Unplug it before cleaning the motor compressor area. Make sure all the coils you can reach are clean. Plug it in and see what happens. If still the same - time to have a tech do pressure tests.

Food stays frozen regardless of temperature setting

It is possible it has a bad thermostat but most likely cause would be a bad damper motor.  It is the vent inside the fridge that opens and closes, based on temp. setting, to allow cold air from the freezer into the fridge section.
