Power switch popped out of faceplate, I have the switch and two copper levers that I'm sure are what complete the circuit. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

I have the same problem. The two levers mentioned also act as springs and they are not lost. It looks like it should be easy to fix, but like the poster I can't see how the pieces fit together.

Best to replace the switch. There are likely one or two springs as well which may be lost.

My Fender Hot Rod deluxe makes a popping noise when switching back to the clean channel.

This is because your clean channel only runs through the pre-amp section, requiring an increased volume level to match that of the volume of the drive section which is overdriven by the pre-amp circuit. my suggestion is to use lower volume level on the clean channel of the amp. To get any volume boost you may need to match the two channels you could use a signal/volume booster or overdrive pedal between your guitar and amp input, switching it off and back on when you switch back and forth between channels.

Beringer PMH 660M has very low power output to speakers and when the volume in increased the output pops in the speakers and goes completely dead, everything else works ok and the lights stay on

could possibly be the volume switch, try changing the switch with one that you hardly use to eliminate the problem. any further probs just let me know. hope this helps

I get a popping sound when I switch it on or off.... It happens through Trans and Valve Amps - doesn't matter where it is in my pedal chain or if it is on it's own

It sounds like there is a DC bias in the unit. Put a short circuit on the input and then cycle it and listen for the pop when changing state... if it does, then it needs servicing... and POSSIBLY a circuit design change. Looking at typical schematics, about the only problem might be leakage at the input and output coupling capacitors UNLESS you are driving it (playing or having a string sustained during switching). If you have a string still going during switching, you probably will get a discontinuity in the form of a pop.

I accidentally changed Dip switches and light has power but no fan and no light ..have I blown a fuse ..thanks

Not likely blown fuse. Verify the correct dip switch settings... SOMETIMES the switches don't quite move completely so make sure they are completely one way or the other.

We have no way to send diagrams on this service itself. If you are careful you can usually remove screws around the outside edge and gently open the units... ALSO look for screws in "wells" in the central portion of the back... ONCE YOU get inside, expect to find this: There will be a circuit board attached to the faceplate that has your switch on it... EXPECT to have to remove all the slider knobs (pull off nice and straight)... possibly you have to coax the rotary control knob(s) off. There will be a few screws mounting the circuit board to the face as well. I am not sure exactly what type of switch you will find under the offending button, so be prepared to remove it, search suppliers like Digikey and Mouser, etc. for a replacement and wait a few days for delivery. Use a little organizer to keep parts in when disassembling. Be VERY careful of ribbon cables when disassembling. The switches in certain functions take a lot of abuse and excess pressure on them can damage the mechanisms. Also they are switched "dry" meaning there isn't enough current drawn to keep oxides off the contacts.

Contact Morelock's Organ Service, Rienzi, MS, United States Phone 601-462-7611. Provide them with the complete model number and expect to pay for a service manual if they have one. Start at the end of the power cord and work towards the amplifier section. You will want to establish that the power supply is working correctly. The light is only an indication that the power cord is getting power to the power switch. If the power supply is providing the correct voltages to the other circuit sections of the organ then you will have to trouble shoot each one separately. Check to make sure the speaker is functional. If it has a headphone jack test it also as it may cut the sound to the speaker out if headphones are plugged in. If it is faulty, sound may not get to the headphones or the speaker. You will also need tools. At least a volt/ohm meter.Remember not to work on the circuits with the power on unless you absolutely know how to do this safely. There are lethal voltages in the power supply.

Power will not go on after machine was dropped. Plastic was broken broken on the top of the device near the power connection but the circuit board appears to be undamaged.

The board may appear undamaged, but the instrument's behavior says something is broken. I have no idea what kind of musical instrument this is, but circuit boards are all the same.

Especially on boards with narrow circuit traces and surface mount parts, damage can be very hard to see. A trace might have a hairline break which would be impossible to see without bright light, strong magnification, and some idea where to look.

It's also possible that the board is fine, but some part has been damaged. The lead from some part may have broken away from the circuit trace, for example. Or a small surface-mounted component may have popped off completely or had a lead broken off.

Unfortunately, this kind of trouble is very hard to fix without detailed product information (circuit diagrams and board layout). Unless the manufacturer makes a service manual available to the general public, this means sending the unit back to them or an authorized service center for repair.

My tascam cd gt1 does not display anything when the power is turned on. i think that maybe it s the switch. completly dead. help

Test the power adapter to make sure that there is power at the plug (volt ohm meter). Try wiggling the plug while it is plugged into the unit with the power switch on. If it works intermittently it means that the solder joint for the power adapter jack has failed on the circuit board. If that isn't the problem it probably is the power switch that needs to be tested next. IF you aren't confident with disassembling the unit far enough to do the tests you will need to take it in for servicing. Let me know how you make out.

Weeping Demon pedal broke

Suspect that the circuit board may have cracked in the vicinity of the power jack. Also check for a switch under the pedal. SOme have them and it might be broken.

Casio CT-670 Tone Bank keyboard completely dead

How familiar are you with schematics? I've just found my CT-670, There where marker marks on the keys. I cleaned it up. I took it apart as one channels had no sound. I love this machine. I want to find a manual for it also schematics would be very helpful for me too.
I would suggest looking inside for burns on semiconductors. or loose soldering. I need to replace a chip that has no cross reference... that I've found yet... I think it's an amplifier but need to spend more time on it....
