Question about Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies
I'm trying to connect a MacBook Pro laptop (snow leapord) to an Aficio MP4500. The MP4500 and the MacBook are connected to a peer-to-peer network. The MP4500's IP address is 192.168.1.106. I downloaded the three MP4500 files (for Mac 10.5 and over) from the Ricoh support website and ran the pdd installer. Then I went to add the printer in the Mac printer utility. The printer appears to add successfully, but when I click for printer details/queue a ''this printer is not installed correctly'' error message appears. Can someone give me a step-by-step procedure to install the correct files in the correct order on a MacBook pro in order to connect to a networked Aficio MP4500?
Do you have post script installed in this printer? if not you will not be able to print from a mac.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
