I get a 0 error on a wyse 150 with the test loop back connectors in, help , the product is a Wyse 150 text terminal

As far as i know the monitor can do very little and internal storage capacity is not big at all.

is this a citrix environment? have you just applied a rollup pack to your terminals?

There is documentation available for free from the wyse website on the knowledgebase. This will detail the full usage of the S50.

It can be used as a local web terminal, or linked to an external server, via RDP (terminal services) or ICA (citrix).

The admin guide (from wyse.com) will help you figure this out :)

Wyse 50/60/150/160 monitors were my specialty!

From what you were explaining it seems to me that you have a bad internal battery and it needs to be changed and a factory reset/ calibration needs to be performed.

I can repair wyse terminals at my facility if you like. The repair cost is not that high and we can also perform the regular repair and adjustments on all wyse monitors if needed.

Best thing to do here is a re-image the client using the tools on the Wyse website.

The new USB imaging tool is pretty handy at imaging this model, and should get this back to a default image and working very quickly :)

Sort of but f3 and f4 wont work and f1 would be ctrl + o

The Wyse S10s require a firmware update to connect to Windows Server 2008. This is due to lack of support for RDP 6.1.

The update I've found to work best is 6.4.0.18.

The only way to get this update is to contact Wyse. However, I have deployed it on numerous clients (our entire base is S10s) and had great success.
