Question about Bose 3 2 1 GS Series II DVD Home Entertainment System - Graphite

I'd like to plug in an MP3 player to my Bose 3-2-1 GS system

I'd like to plug in an MP3 player but the accessory port on my Bose 3-2-1 GS system doesn't match the standard audia cable for an MP3 player. Any ideas?

I'd also like to figure out how to add a 2nd set of standard speakers to the system. Any ideas on this one also?

This looks like it will resolve the MP3 issue, any ideas on the 2nd set of speakers?

You only solved half of the problems. Do you know the 2nd part about the speakers?

You can use a splitter on the speaker connections to get a 2nd set of speakers.

Since u don't say what the input is on the Bose I will assume it is a standard A/B RCA audio input plug, the MPS uses a 3.5MM mini audio duplex plug, this means that the 2 channels that make up stereo are all contained in the single 3.5MM mini plug, so you will need to get a 3.5MM mini plug that goes the MP3 Player and then to and then splits to the male A/B RCA audio plug, a bit confusing, but here is a link to one of these plugs on Ebay.

Bose CD player wont turn it on at all

Plug it into another wall socket, try it there. Then turn off all lights in room and plug it in, see if you can see any glow or LED inside it or outside. Then check the fuse in the plug if there is one.

Can I make a USB port out of my laptop plug into an AC input on the Bose Series II Sound Dock so I can play music from my laptop?

What you want to do won;t work and can damage your laptop and or Bose.
If you want to play sounds from your laptop to your Bose, you need to plug an audio lead from the headphone socket on your laptop and connect the other end of this audio lead into the audio input on your Bose Sound Deck (if it has an Aux input).

Hook up

The Bose GS can only support component video set-up for the best video definition. This video connection set-up uses three RCA cables to transfer the video signal from an output device (the Bose GS) to an input device (Your TV).

Check if the back of your GS system has a set of video out RCA ports that are titled "Comp Out". You TV should then have a "Comp In" video input RCA ports you can connect to.

Hope this helps.
