Question about Insignia Audio Players & Recorders
I guess that's how it is called, anywayz I recently had this amplifier working but one day it rained and I think some drops of water fell inside although I cannot besure of that, but the HLS-4453(18F)-A keeps on clicking when I increase the volume of the cd player and even from my computer it's like a power issue here but I think at the same time that my hls-4453(18F)-A is not the problem... any ideas?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: sony amplifier power
Hi uscsae, This is usually caused by a blown fuse or a blown capacitor. The fuse would be cheap and easy to fix, the capacitor would be expensive and replacement would be my choice. If you are pretty handy with electronics, unplug it, take the cover off the unit, and look near the capacitor for the fuse. Check the fuse for a break in the wire inside it. You can get these fuses at Radio Shack. Hopefully this is what it is, and will be a cheap and easy fix for you. Let me know how it goes. Best regards, nightdiver

Hi there, get down to your local electronics supplier and buy a tin of spray switch cleaner. Try and spray some into th v/control and do the other controls at ther same time, this should solve the problem

Maybe you accidentally break some contact(s), on display or somewhere else. If that is the problem, soldering iron should solve that. Look for any loosen wires or detached contacts.
