Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.

The phone company have locked your sim under the assumption that its trying to be accessed by an unauthorised person.
Get another sim -maybe a friend's- of the same network as yours, and call your mobile service operators.
Let them know what has happened, and through some verification process, your sim would be unlocked as well as your PUK given to you. You dont need to purchase another sim.

The phone asks for PUK code ( Personal Unblocking Key )if a wrong PIN code is entered repeatedly

PUK code is related to the SIM card you are using in your phone and not the phone itself

So kindly call the Customer support of your cellular service provider and they will provide you with the PUK code free of charge

Please note: Entering a wrong PUK code ten times in a row permanently disables the SIM card. So please be careful while entering the PUK code

If you are asking for pin contact your service provider ,
he will give you a default pin .
If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK
code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and
every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be
blocked and you will need a new sim.
Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk number.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else
in this world nor any software.

The PUK code is specific to the phone number not the phone. To get the PUK code you need to call into customer care
