My ipod wont even come on just shows a picture

First turn it off, if it can. Then, click on the home button and plug the cord to the computer and ipod. Keep holdin' the home button until the connect to itunes sign shows. then select your ipod firmware. i do not think this deletes your songs and media.

1. Try another USB cord or USB cable. 2. Restrart your computer for a try.

thats easy, connect your ipod to itunes because it needs to restore your ipod in order to use it, it will go through a series of steps but wait for it to complete.

Have you verified #1 that your outlet is putting out 120 VAC? Have to checked input power fuse inside chasis? What about a stuck power on switch? Unplug all access. except the TV and try powering it on.

You need to connect it to a PC/Mac to register that iPod with Apple before you can even use it.
