Question about Canon EOS Elan 7ne 35mm SLR Camera
Two things have gone wrong with this camera. Only one kind of battery seems to work the best which is the CR25 duricell and even with that battery being used now I get shutter lock up and must turn the dial to off and turn it back on again to have the shutter drop back down. I cleaned the battery terminals, purchased a battery pack and still the problem remains. Not sure if it is inside the Elan's circutry and is it worth fixing. I shot a whole roll of 36 at this years airshow and got nada. Each shot the shutter remained in the up position until I used the dial to off and then back on again. Any thoughts?
You have camera shutter problem if battery is good.
That's very common on camera when they go bad.
It's like a car timing belt snapped or the water pump decided not to turn.
Film cameras are very cheap now.
