I put regular gas to my ryobi c4620. Chain saw. And know it won't start I check tne spark plug has spark I put mix gas still won't start is there something I can do to get this chain saw to start

when you put un mixed fuel into a tool that needs to have mixed fuel/oil (the oil acts as a lubricant) and the tool will run on no lube for a little bit but it quickly damages the rotating metal parts inside the tool , most times the cylinder/piston is the most effected by this , ive replaced a few pistons when this occurs , and sometimes it allows it run again , but its never as good as new again

How do I fix a ryobi bp42 that will not start

It's a 2 stroke & it's relatively new. as long as you didn't score the piston by neglecting to add oil to the fuel mixture, the most likely problem is fuel issues. It only takes a month or 2 to have ethanol fuel absorb enough moisture to ruin the fuel mix. Return all carb settings to original settings. Empty your tank, get rid of your fuel, remix with NON-ETHANOL FUEL MIXED WITH A PREMIUM SYNTHETIC 2-STROKE OIL, such as echo or husquvarna. Purge all the fuel from your lines and primer. Remove the spark plug & pull the cord a few times to dry out the cylinder, run a flame under the spark plug to dry it out. Add 3 drops of fuel mix to the cylinder then replace the plug. Put it on full choke & pull 1 time. Then on 1/2 choke pull to start in 1 or 2 pulls. Still won't start; replace plug & air filter. Let it warm up for 5-10 seconds then turn choke off.

I have a kx60 i bored the barrel to use a kx65 piston i put the motor back together and wont start

1. check for spark, check spark plug for fuel too. alot or none.
2.make sure your getting fuel to the carb
3. check your compression since you put the new top end on.
must be 114 psi or better.
3.make sure your reed valves are good.
4. make sure, your exhaust pipe is not clogged.

If you have good spark, fuel flowing, and compression, it will start.

if you took the rotor off make sure the keyway was installed or it wont fire correctly, the rotor will spin on the shaft if there is not a keyway installed.

make sure you have good gasoline, and good oil mix
i run 50:1 fuel oil mix.
You bike will start up if you have, spark, fuel, compression
Best Regards

Stihl ts 400 wont start

If there is good fuel in the tank and the plug gets wet with fuel, and there is a good spark stating the obvious it should go, if not there could be a mechanical issue, piston scored, rings worn etc,

My 156 sportswagon is burning fuel badly i put 2 gallons in and only got 31 miles for this i can hear an air leak coming from top of engine would this be a likley cause for such poor fuel consumption it's...

an air leak would weaken the mix of fuel to air so giving you better fuel efficiency but a poor power output.
was my last answer not to your liking, re **** fuel consumption on all fiat/alpha cars.but it is true, ask any owner........14.7 average mpg.......£205 road tax.....(tax it for a year and quadruple its value...)

Determine if your engine is a two-stroke or a four-stroke. Check the gas tank on your lawnmower or the owner's manual to determine what type of engine you have.

Read the label of your two-stroke oil. Follow the directions on the package to ensure the right mix.
Measure and pour the gasoline in to the empty gas can.

Add four ounces of two-stroke oil per each gallon of gas.

Replace the cap on the gas can and shake the oil and gas to mix. Add fuel to your engine.

Take care.

Firstly haveing had a long term love affair with the triumph marque I must ask why are you sacrificeing the daytona.Ok ive got that of my chest lets get to your problem. you done the right thing emptying the tank stale fuel that old wont have any volatility as for the spark plug i would sugest you purchase a tube spanner they have a thinner wall thickness than sockets as for topping up the oil my advice is to change it & while your there give the old girl a birthday & shout her a new filter to now to the question as to why she fails to turn over once the throttle is introduced you realy need to get that spark plug out once you have done that introduce a small amount approx 100ml of light oil into the bore via the plug hole with the battery fully charged or connected to a booster pack turn the motor over until you have blown all the oil out poor a little fuel into the bore do the same again putt the plug into the end of the lead hold it on the head & turn the motor over if the spark is thick & blue the plug shoud be ok if no spark take the cap of the lead or if it is a moulded cap putt a screw driver in the cap hold the screw driver near to the head & turn the motor over if it throws a spark between the screwdriver & the head of you go & buy a new plug fit it fire her up if she fails to fire your going to have to remove strip & clean the carby thoroughly that means remove all the jets the needle & seat float every thing if it is running a diapragm type carb check the diaphragm for perishing once your satisfied that all is clean & that there are no holes inthe diaphragm reasemble it replace it on the machine fire her up enjoy the summer let me know how you get on. I have a poulan pro bvm200 leaf blower, was running and then it stopped and have not been able to start it. I took all the parts off and all are clean. Throttle is clean, push button for fuel is working....

the bvm 200 model has a 25cc piston and ring the rings are infamous for getting clogged and baked into theyre seat, this creates a compwesion problem and it will not start, gets fuel spark but without compresion it'll just not run or start,if careful you can remove the piston soak it with ring atached in carb cleaner and get it springy again or replace the ring with a new one it has a 1.353 (34.38)mm bore and a ring thikness of .061 hope this helps
