    Thanks.

It is the soleniod on the starter. When it gets hot it fails and we have to let it cool, short it, or hit it a few times.

Sounds like either the starter is going bad or valves need to be adjusted

I have a 2000 beetle car cranks bit doesn't start after sitting for awhile. Give it a few shots of starting fluid and it fires right up and runs fine. Once it's been running and gets warm i can turn it off...

Next time it won't start after two hours, push your gas pedal all the way to the floor and see if it starts. If it starts, it could be a fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator issue.

Are trailer is only a couple of years old and we have only used it a few times - twice when we have used it we left the air conditioning running and left the trailer for a few hours and come back and it is...

Hello,

Here is what happening . This has nothing to do with you having it on while you stepped out for a few hours. The unit needs to be cleaned/ filters/screens/fins/coils. This problem would of happened even if you were in the trailer as it was running. The issue is after a while, sense it needs to be cleaned it loads up and then starts to freeze and then once it starts to freeze coils etc... it then starts only blowing warm air. When you turned it off, and let it set for a while, reason it started working again, is because the ice that built up defrosted some to have unit operate proper again. Solution is to clean the unit good. Thanks Mike from fixya.

1990 k1500 pu 4wd starts and runs fine but at times when you shut it off after running awhile it will not start, will not even turn over. let it set a few hours and it starts right up. Jumping the battery...

Sounds like you don't have a good ground at the battery. Take the clamps off of the battery and give them a good cleaning. Then, put some dielectric grease on the battery posts when you put the clamps back on.

The 2 sensors are located at back-top of the engine, you should check the wiring first before you change the 2 sensors
