Re: Cant get modem share to work on my tablet... no com...

ModemShare is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) or later, due to changes that Microsoft made to the DCOM security settings.
ModemShare is a now discontinued product, but the publisher provides an upgrade path to the replacment NetModem modem sharing solution here:
Another option is to downgrade XP back to SP1, or use any version of Windows 2000 which is still compatible with ModemShare.

Cafe manila is working well not until i changed my pldt plan to thier new promo PRO,my clients appear offline to my server

Check your connections, it should be like this: PLDT modem -> router -> computers. If you connect a computer to the PLDT modem, it won't be seen by other computers in your network. Make sure that all of your computers are connected to the router, and not to the modem. Your modem should also be connected to the router's WAN port and not on the LAN port.

Hi, the ethernet port located in the back of my computer appears to be faulty. I am unable to connect to a modem/router successfully due to this problem, also my USB ports don't appear to be working. Can...

If your lan card is faukty then you have to replace the LAN card. But as regards the USB ports not functioning the best thing to do is to install the usb drivers for your PC. When you install the USB port drivers for the PC the PC will be able to accept plug and play USB internet modems.
The drivers for your usb port can be located when you go to device manager select USB ports and it will take you to the drivers for the ports.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Pleasse reinstall your NIC driver (Network Interface Card). Check your device manager for make and model of your NIC. Download the proper driver to some other computer and put it on a disk which will work in your unknown computer (floppy if available, CD if no floppy)

How to create server pc?

This all depends on they type of server you wish to create and the amount of users you wish to serve.

For less than 10 clients and for back up purposes and media streaming then windows home server (WHS) is a very useful and reliable option.

Your budget is also a large factor in server deployment

You have not given nearly enough details as to its use.

Sahare session problem

Coherence*Web allows session data to be shared by different Web applications deployed in the same or different Web containers. To do so, you must correctly configure the Coherence*Web cookie context parameters and you must make the classes of objects stored in session attributes available to each Web application.

If you are using cookies to store session IDs (that is, you are not using URL rewriting), you must set the coherence-session-cookie-path context parameter to a common context path of all Web applications that share session data. For example, if you would like to share session data between two Web applications registered under the contexts paths /web/HRPortal and /web/InWeb, you should set the coherence-session-cookie-path parameter to /web. On the other hand, if the two Web applications are registered under the context paths /HRPortal and /InWeb, you should set the coherence-session-cookie-path parameter to /.
If the Web applications that you would like to share session data are deployed on different Web containers running on different machines (that are not behind a common load balancer), you must also set the coherence-session-cookie-domain parameter to a domain shared by the machines. For example, if you would like to share session data between two Web applications running on and, you must set the coherence-session-cookie-domain parameter to
To correctly serialize/deserialize objects stored in shared sessions, the classes of all objects stored in session attributes must be available to Web applications that share session data. For Web applications deployed on different containers, the classes may be placed in either the Web container or Web application classpath; however, for application deployed in the same Web container, the classes must be placed in the Web container classpath. This is due to the fact that most containers load each Web application using a separate ClassLoader.
