Question about Creative Labs Zen Digital Media Player
Got error 1 when turn on PMC, Get error 2 when connect by USB. Look into manual, it stated that firmware corrupted need to reinstall. Download V.1.03. PMC was connected, but during the installing step, program keep asking to connect PMC. Can't do anything. Please help
I found the solution to this problem. You MUST be using Windows Media Player 10. Also, uninstall Microsoft User Driver pack found in add or remove programs.
After getting your Windows XP machine back to Media Player 10 you can then click the upgrade button. You may need to uninstall the Portable Media Center from Device manager if your plugged it in at the wrong time.
Solution: Have Windows Media Player 10, nothing higher or lower, and uninstall User driver pack.
