Verify that it is not the computer causing the issue by hooking a different computer up to the monitor or the computer to a different monitor. Test the power supply with a fluke meter and verify that it is giving the proper dc voltage(you will find the rating on the powersupply). If the power supply and the computer test good then it could be the inverter for the monitor.

You have a power supply issue. Something is causing teh supply breaker to trip. You will need to find a local repair shop to pin point the issues.

Hello,

This is a common issue with the VA1912 units. The black screen is caused by a failure of the filter capacitors on the power supply board. You can replace the capacitors and the monitor will be as good as new. Here is a link to some information on the capacitors needed to build the power supply board.

I have intex it-1703 monitor it displays for few seconds only

Bad power supply. The power supply capacitors charge up and then discharge in a very fast cycle. If the capacitor(s) bulge and fail, they can't keep the monitor lit. You can try to pry apart the monitor shell and look at the power supply. If you see bulged capacitor(s), that's the problem. Replacement capacitors are available at mouser.com.

Screen goes blank when first turned on, have to keep restarting m

Hello,

If you turn the monitor off then about 1020 sec turn it back on and have a picture for five sec again it sound like the power supply in the monitor. but if that did not solve the problem, the picture board on your monitor is bad, since it goes off after few seconds and the power led or button is on, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault and will need to be replace.

I advice you replace the picture board on the screen of your monitor to solve the problem of the blank screen.

Take care.

I have a HPw1907 monitor and it will turn on for about 2 seconds, and it turns off. The CPU is fine, just a problem with the monitor. Any way to fix this?

We have the same model of monitor and had the same problem few days ago. The monitor just goes black/turns off. I noticed that the power button has a yellow blinking light and cannot be turn on/off again using the power button. The CPU is working fine also. When I turn off the avr, the power button's light turns blue for a few second and you can hear a click sound from the back of the lcd before it totally turns off. My lcd monitor is over a year old now and is 110v or 220v capable. Mine was originally in a 220v, i just put it in 110v and the monitor was fixed.. Hope this can somehow fix your problem.

LCD monitor goes blank

It appears that the display resolution set in your display properties is out of the range that the LCD can display.

Try this.

Boot to the ENABLE VGA MODE by pressing F8 to get the Windows Boot Menu. If you can get to the desktop, then go to display properties, and see if you can change the resolution to higher settings and maintain video. (If the video blanks out, then it should revert to the previous setting in 15 seconds)

Looks like your inverter board is broken.

Similar problem as Neovo F-417 (same chassis) , Look for 715L1283-4 inverter board
