The disconnect-problem was caused by the settings of the WiFi-router.
The settings are:
Capture(wlanadv.beacon) Beacon Interval: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 100, Capture(hwlad2.milli) Milliseconds, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 1 - 65535) Capture(wlanadv.dtim) DTIM Interval: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 1, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 1 - 255) Capture(hwlad2.frathrh) Fragmentation Threshold: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 2346, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 256 - 2346) Capture(wlanadv.rts) RTS Threshold: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 2347, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 0 - 2347)
This gives an optimal performance of the router, The default setting work fine for the printer, but gives less performance.
I now use a seperate wifi-router for the printer.
All is fine now.

Are 'periods'. On. Special. Offer.. Today... :>)

Your wifi connection is the problem. It is either dropping because the people who supply it are having problems, line problems to your house, or you are too far away from the router. Sometimes the location of the router is too close to a wall.

Another thing to try is to simply shut down all your hardware – ie. your PC, your modem, your router, your laptop, etc. – anything on the network. Then power them back on in the following order: modem -> router -> PC (wired) -> laptop (wireless) and see if that fixes the issue.

Keep losing wifi after connecting new wireless printer

Is your printer connected to your existing wifi network, or does it have it's own SSID (wireless network name) that you connect to in order to print to it?

How do I get my next book 8se android tablet to print

If you don't have HP Print Service Plugin and HP ePrint installed, make sure these two apps are installed. Go into ePrint and see if it 'sees' your network printer when you have WiFi on and you are logged on to the same network segment. If the apps cannot 'see' the printer in their selection menu, none of them will work until the connection issue is resolved. One other thing to try, download any app with network 'ping' function and try to ping your printer by its IP address from your tablet. If you cannot ping the printer from your tablet, you are either not on the same network segment, or there is some other connection issue.

It takes 7 and a half minute to print a page. What's wrong. HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier

It takes 7 and a half minute to print a page....
Depends on many factors my friend:
if u print big amount of data (big color pictures) through wireless connection and the WiFi connection is weak, then it takes time to collect data, evtl. stopping data-transmissions and reconnecting takes awful periods. check ur WiFi connection.
try to connect through USB and test again.
If then printing is normal, ur WiFi is to check, change security evtl. or change location of the printer to strengthen WiFi connection,

good luck

WiFi on tx2620es do not connect to Router

false
WEP, WPA and WPA2.
all 3 are encrypted, wpa2 is best.
you never once said the magic words "connected"
nor what window,s XP? must we GUESS OS?

IG GUESS, COMMAND LINE IPCONFIG /ALL
FAILS, / NO IP ASSIGNED?
WELL THAT MEANS DHCP FAILED, OR NOR CONNECTED.

i see you doing things impossible, like PING
WITH NO ASSIGNED IP;.
the tx2620es must connected,to work
if it is connected,id remove the drivers, for the NICwifi
and load them freshoff HP.com
that will work
everytime
if not virus infected.
see the words connected, well some times it can lie.
obviously its in the tx2620es
id use CP + device manager
and blow the wifi stack away and get new drivers off hp.com
then find your SSID and connect, using the correct Pw

Dir-601 wireless router isn't giving us internet connection. We are able to connect to the internet using only the modem directly.

Try
START

PING
192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1
if it works you have a connection to the router .
Now try
Ping bbc.co.uk if it works you have internet connection but cant find DNS SERVER. In this case;
START
CONTROL PANEL
NETWORK CONNECTIONS
RIGHT CLICK WIFI ADAPTER
choose PROPERTIES
select "this computer uses..."
INTERNET PROTOCOL (TCP/IP)
PROPERTIES
"OBTAIN INTERNET ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY" tick

also tick OBTAIN DNS AUTOMATICALLY
SAVE and Close network properties

REBOOT ROUTER and PC

recheck PING bbc.co.uk ...if successful ensure or use internet explorer
