Question about Canon CanoScan 5600F Flatbed Scanner
Go into the control panel and double click on the scanners and cameras icon. Verify that vista sees the scanner. If the scanner is there then you will be able to use the built-in scanning software for Vista if you are unable to resolve the software problem. You could try uninstalling and re-installing the software but they had trouble with software on Vista when it first came out. Try this link and download the software(it might be a newer release than the one you have installed). Download the software, then go into add/remove programs and remove all the scanner software. Then disconnect the scanner and re-boot. Then install the downloaded software and do not connect the scanner until instructed to by the software installer. This may fix the problem with the software. If not then uninstall the software and use the built-in software on vista. oh and here is the link...If you have any more questions let me know.
