Have you tried to do a complete uninstall. You will also have to manually go to C:/windows/program files/QuickTime and delete that folder Manually after the uninstall as well. Then do a reinstall this should resolve the issue you are having.

I have a 2002 Deville DTS which at first lost the turn signals, tachometer and speedometer. Now every other electrical component(ie feul, lights, power Windows, doors, as well as locks) all fail to work....

Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Checking power and grounds . Hooking up a scan tool that can communicate with all the modules on the vehicle . The insturment cluster is a module too ,has a microprocessor inside . All the modules on the vehicle are connected through a serial data network . Class 2 . All it takes is one messed up module to short out the network an the vehicle will have all kind of electrical problems , like you won't believe . I see this all the time and the odds of you fixing this is probably not good . You have no idea of the complexity of these systems . So before you make the problem worst have the cadillac dealer check it out .
Body Control System Description and Operation
Table 1: 4-Wire Ignition Switch Table
The body control system consists of the following 3 modules:
• The Dash Integration Module (DIM)
• The Instrument Panel Module (IPM)
• The Rear Integration Module (RIM)
Each of the 3 body control modules integrate a number of functional systems under the control of a single module. Each module is connected to the Class 2 serial data circuit, many of the control functions are implemented by Class 2 messages.

Dash Integration Module (DIM)
The various DIM input and output circuits are described in the corresponding functional areas as indicated on the DIM electrical schematics.
The DIM functions include the following:
• Class 2 communication requiring DIM interaction.
• Control of exterior lamps.
• Control of front fog lights.
• Control of the headlights.
• Headlamps on with wiper input.
• Hood ajar switch input w/export.
• Horn relay control.
• Interior lamps incandescent dimming.
• Low side temperature for HVAC compressor.
• Power moding control over Class 2 serial data circuit.
• Reverse lockout solenoid control.
• Steering wheel controls input.
• Storage of the clock settings and, sending a message out on the class 2 serial data circuit in response to requests from other modules.
Serial Data Power Mode
On vehicles that have several control modules connected by serial data circuits, one module is the power mode master (PMM). On this vehicle the PMM is the DIM. The PMM receives 4 signals from the ignition switch.
To determine the correct power mode the PMM uses the following circuits:
• Accessory voltage
• Ignition 1 voltage
• Ignition 3 voltage
• Off/Run/Crank voltage

Facebook log in problem Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.

Thank you for visiting Fixya forums.

There are several reasons you may be getting this error code. Each will be suggested below:

Firewall

Change your firewall settings in the Security Preference Pane to 'Allow all incoming connections'. Check to make sure you don't have a firewall running that has stopped iPhoto from communicating with Facebook.

Cookies

This error code may be an issue with the cookie that Firefox or Safari uses to store the Exporter's login info. You need to delete the Facebook cookie called "isfbe". In Firefox you can do this by going to your preferences, clicking on "Privacy," then find the Show Cookies button. Find the one whose name contains the term "isfbe". Then click Delete Cookie.

For Safari you also go to preferences, but first click on "Security," then click Show Cookies and find the aforementioned cookie and delete it.

After this, just go back to the Facebook Exporter in iPhoto and login again, this time you will have no connection problem.

iPhoto

iPhoto, a problem lies in a conflict with the latest point update for iPhoto '08, version 7.1.3. Maybe it will work if you reinstall iPhoto, update to 7.1.2, copy the iPhoto application and rename it "iPhoto old," and then run Software Update and bring it up to date to get the bug fixes in the latest update for your main copy of iPhoto.

Note: I don't know if it will change the library format at all with 7.1.3.
The FAQ/support page for the Facebook Exporter for iPhoto is here: <http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=718>

1. Log out of Facebook through your web browser.
2. Go to Facebook Exporter for iPhoto, click Login.
3. This will open a Facebook login page in your web browser.
4. Log in but do not check "Save my login info..."
5. Go back to iPhoto, hit continue, and export your photos.

Sometimes an error message may still occur while uploading the photos, but retry and eventually it should work.

LittleSnitch

If you have Little Snatch running on your computer it may be blocking iPhoto from access port 80.

For some reason with the Facebook export it doesn't pop up and prompt you to allow access. Allow access in LittleSnitch my Facebook plugin for iPhoto may allow you to start connecting properly.

FULL Reset of Safari
You can remove all history, cache, cookies, etc.

Firefox History
If your browser is Firefox, clear history.

Export controller has stopped working (vista 32 bit)

Deinstall it. If you got this with iTunes 9 deinstall that as well and go back to the previous versions which can be found on the Apple website under support. I got rid of both of them and reinstalled iTunes 8.2.1 with quicktime and all of the various programs that were giving me "stopped working" messages all started functioning properly again.
