Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have a dell 960 and I am trying to install it, I follow all the directions it looks like it is installed and then it shows Code 41, but there is no explanation for Code 41.

Service 960 memory error- r for my Lexmark C532n printer


A 960 RAM MEMORY FAILURE message indicates a failure of the RAM MEMORY that is soldered onto the printer's main controller/system board.

If the printer is displaying a 960 memory error.

1. Power off the printer.
2. If you have any extra memory SIMMs or code SIMMs installed in the printer, remove them.
3. Power on the printer.
4. If the 960 error continues, the main controller/system board will probably need to be replaced.
5. If the 960 error does not return, try printing a few documents.
6. If these documents print correctly, the cause of the 960 memory error is probably one of the SIMMs you just removed.
To confirm this, do the following:

1. Turn off the printer and reinstall each SIMM one at a time.
2. After you install each memory card, power the printer back on and try printing. If the error returns as soon as you install a particular SIMM, that SIMM is probably the cause of the error message.

My CDR/DVD doesn't work. I have a yellow ! over the hardware device. Using the Windows Add Hardware Wizard it shows that Windows has successfully loaded the device driver for the hardware but can not...


Hello, if looked this error code from Microsoft self, just have a lokk and see if you have tried all of these.

This problem occurs if you install a driver for a non-Plug and Play device, but Windows cannot find the device. Here are some things that you can try to resolve this problem.

If the Troubleshooting Wizard does not resolve the problem, do one of the following:
  • If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, connect the device, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver.
  • If the hardware was not removed, the driver files might be obsolete. In this case, update the driver from Device Manager. In the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to update the driver.
  • If the device is a non-Plug and Play device, you may have to install a newer version of the driver. To install non-Plug and Play devices, use the Add Hardware wizard. Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type hdwwiz.cpl.

If that doesn't work, i tried this program once at a frined of mine with the same problem as you have now and it worked perfectly.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. I was recently


Remove the drive by turning the computer upside down and take the screw out between the battery and the memory cover (next to a padlock symbol). Insert the screw driver into the little notch in the plate next to where the screw was and slide it towards the drive. The drive should now pop out. Boot the computer. Shut the computer down and reinsert the drive and reboot.

Dell inspiron 1521 screen problem, does not show any signs


If it were me, I would try reinstalling the BIOS update again. Follow the directions very closely.
If that does not work, try calling Dell for help!

I believe the problem is that the BIOS is corrupt - I could be wrong of course. Good luck.

Most of the Dell cases can be opened without tools, it should not be too difficult.

Take a look at "Removing the Cover"

Next click on then "Removing and Installing Parts" and then click on "Cards".

You should be able to replace your modem with any PCI modem compatible with your operating system. Go to Bestbuy or Officemax and tell them what you're looking for and they'll help you choose a modem that is compatible. Just follow the modem manufacturer's directions to install. Sometimes they want you to install software then hardware, sometimes the opposite. Just follow their directions.

Looking for a manual for A Samsung SSC security system


Hi,



Am not familiar with an SSC-960, there are however SVR-960 (4 versions) by Samsung.



Normally Samsung follows similar installation procedures and the differences in their model are advance features and the length of recording time. If this could be of any help, this link is a users’ manual for a 1280 hrs model. It includes installation procedures.



Alternately you can try Google for “svr 960 pdf” but when I tried it most that I can get are German language versions.
