What O.S & what machine do you have?
anyways, go to start- run - type devmgmt.msc
Go under Sound & Audio Devices
See what device is there with an Red X next to it.
check device & install drivers for it.
If you can tell me the OS & machine, or device name, I can find drivers for you.

Thanks & Good Luck!!!!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Always seems to run low on memory even though I "clean-up" often. any suggestions?

Hi:
Something to focus on are running programs that use your resources.

Start by going to : control panel, add and remove programs..
Comb thru the list, and uninstall anything that you are 100% not using...Especially trial programs, and any tool bar , and any freebie spyware, ad ware, etc...Un install any programs that you no longer want or need. If you are not sure about something, don;t mess with it...
I think you will get some of your resources back, once you do this!

To enable scripting:

Click "Tools"
Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX.controls marked safe for scripting"- enable
Scroll down to "Scripting - Active scripting" - enable
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets" - enable

After updating check you do not have old versions of Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can cause conflicts
Start / control panel / programs
delete any old versions

My speakers arent making a sound .

It is not software for the speakers you need.

you should check your hardware on the computer first.

Call up the volume control and check that none of the "MUTE" boxes are ticked.

If you get an error starting the volume control you may have deleted the drivers for your sound card.

You should also check out your hardware from the control panel, system, hardware, device manager. If you see any exclamation marks by any hardware that is where you should start.

My T1220 IS RUNNING SLOW

There are a few things you can do to help your computer to run faster. First is do a disc cleanup. Go to "Start", "All Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools", then click "Disc Cleanup", it'll walk you through the rest.

Next go to the control panel and remove programs that are taking up space that you don't use a lot. Browse your computer and delete old fiels saved on your computer you no longer use.

Also, change your start up programs. You could have a lot of programs opening up when your computer starts that you don't use. Go to the control panel, click "Performance" and on the left hand side you will see "Manage start-up programs" and Disable programs that you aren't using often so they won't boot up everytime you reboot your computer.

Accidentally deleted a program and now internet won't work

If you are unable to restore the previous settings of the computer? I might advised you to search for the driver of your wireless adapter and you'll needing to reinstall it to your computer.

Note: Make sure that the adapter is still installed to the computer.

I cannot sign in yahoo

You could try uninstalling the messenger and then doing a clean download and install(meaning make sure when you download that all of your running programs are turned off, including your virus control.) Also, you might want to check your virus control under interent content or whatever yours may call it and see if you have been prohibited from using yahoo messenger there. Someone may have accidentally prohibited any chat or messenger programs. Good luck and let us know with a rating. thank you.
Please check the amount of memory you have. The messenger uses a lot.

You should probably do a major clean up of your system:

virus update and scan

start all programs>accessories>system tools>disc cleanup

toolbar>tools>internet options>delete all your cookies

check through your little icons in the lower right hand corner and tell me all that you have there. If you have a bunch of proggys waiting to start up all the time that uses memory, and most but not all do not relly serve any purpose.

Take a look at your desktop and delete any unnecessary icons for proggys you rarely use (this does not delete the program.) Right click on the icon and click delete.

If you have register cleaning program run that

Go through your files and delete junk you know longer need or want or put them onto a CD (I mean old pictures, files, etc.)

Empty your recycle bin

start all programs>accessories>system tools>defrag Good luck and let me know if this solves your problem.
