Question about Nintendo DSi Black Console
Your best bet is to just reformat and start over again. There's a great tutorial to set it up on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software on their support page. And I noticed they made a video about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV4sNQf2uS4
But they might not have your exact card model's software. If you check the packaging of your flash card there should be a manufacturer's website on it that will have the latest official software for your particular flash card. Or you can check the list of R4 SDHC card types here for their manufacturer's websites http://www.r4dsrevolution.co.uk
If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.
Best of luck!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It's possible that somebody has updated the DSi console to the latest 1.4.3 firmware. A lot of flash cards, especially fake ones, no longer work on the 1.4.3 firmware. Always make sure the card does work before any console upgrade or this can happen. :-(
If you're 100% sure you have a genuine R4i card (it will show r4i-sdhc.com, with the hyphen [r4isdhc.com is fake] on the box or the card if it's genuine), then try the YouTube video attached to this post. Hopefully that will fix the issue, remember you need an older DSi (pre-1.4.3) or DS Lite to apply the update.
You'd probably have to buy a new DS card to back up your games on - if you're US based I'd recommend DSCardWorld.com but if you're Europe based then NDS-Gear.com is the way to go. Both of these places only sell genuine cards and are authorised resellers fo popular models like the Acekard 2i, Supercard DSTWO and Cyclo DS iEvolution.
