Question about Sceptre X7GNAGAV 17" LCD Monitor
My monitor just randomly stopped working. whenever i turn it on now the indicator that shows its on just keeps flashing red and blue. can i fix this or do i have to buy a new monitor?
For most of the problems above you will find it is bad capacitors on the power board sending unstable power accross to the controller board.
For the last posted problem (Comment by Guest, posted on Jan 02, 2008) you have a dodgy inverter circuit that needs to be repaired.
Both faults should be fairly cheap to have taken care of at your local TV repair shop. You may need to call a few in your area not just for a quote, but also to see if they are willing to work on an LCD monitor.
Hope that helps you all =)

I had this problem with my x7g. I unplugged the vga cable from the video card, and unplugged the power from the monitor. Then, I held down on the power button on the monitor while plugging the power cable back, and kept holding down for 5 seconds or so afterwards. I then turned on the monitor and plugged the VGA cable in. It now works!
