SOURCE: Pictures are too bright when shooting outdoors in sunlight

Have you tried changing your settings manually to outdoor? Or adjusted the aperture? You can usually find the aperture settings under the menu button. If not, try adjusting to outdoor conditions and disabling flash. And also, lower your white balance a good bit.

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

Hi my lens has trouble focusing on the objects and is hopeless in darker situations....if it dose take the picture its often out of focus.....Im an Aussie living in Tokyo I have taken it to the camera...

Many lenses with small maximum apertures (in your case f5.6) have difficulty focussing in low-light situations. Doubt there is a problem, unless if happens in brightly-lit situations - try some test shots on objects out of doors in the sunlight, where there is plenty of visual contrast for the lens to focus on (window frames in a building, for instance). The vertical line can be caused by a very bright object in the image like a lamp or a silver surface reflecting the flash.
The spots are caused by the flash being SO close to the lens. Any object that can reflect the flash reflects it right back at the camera. This is an image problem with most point and shoot digitals. Watch for reflective surfaces and stand at an angle to them. Turn on more lights in the room before using flash. Stand at a slight angle to the image or person you are photographing - don't shoot straight on. (I kneel down and shoot up - makes a good shot too.)
If you are shooting toward the sun, shield the lens from direct sunlight with your hand (Keep your hand out of the picture!)

My gs500s colors are bright pink and i tried changing white balance and nothing works

Try going into "reset" master mode. otherwise you need to make sure your camera is shooting on the right setting for the light you are using. For example, when shooting in daylight with interior light setting (approx. 3200k) your photos will look off color and yellow or pink because sunlight is 5600k approx.,. . . contrary while shooting indoors with incandescant lighting if the camera is set for sunlight exposure (5600k) the picture will look blue. Make sure you read the manual on how to white balace, but first take the camera out of AutoExposure settings to do all the settings manually. Auto focus and auto exposure are for rookies and these types of errors will happen. Always try to do manual iris and manual focus for best results zoom in and get your focus on the subjects eyes then zoom out and frame up your shot.

Fail to take outdoor picture

There is a known "bug" in the earlier S1000 models. You would benefit from a firmware upgrade which is available as a download from Fuji's website. The Canadian site is www.fujifilm.ca . Just look for support and firmware downloads. You can find out there which firmware version is in your camera, and the upgrades, with what they correct.
