Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator
If batteries are correctly inserted (respecting the the polarity diagram), the screen contrast may be too light.
To increase contrast:
1. Press [2nd] and release it.
2. Press [UpArrow] and release it.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 in sequence until contrast is adequate.
You may have to go through the cycle several times (5 to 6 times.)
