Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Most videos I watch on Youtube play back in a stuttering way. They are usually acting as if rebuffering. Usually the sound comes in faster than the picture. Last year I didn't have any trouble watching them. they were a little jumpy but now it's ridiculous. Has Youtube changed its parameters?(At the behest perhaps of Microsoft??) I just tried to watch aN NBC video and found out-after wasting much time- that NBC only uses MS software. Not suprising considering their relationship to MSNBC. Just turned on the latest Stephen colbert Show and, even thoughthe video is jumpy it is watchable. better than Youtube.

When I download music from youtube with my ZTE phone, the song plays for several seconds, then stops. It then continues, and stops again. What can I do about it?

Is it possible that you have not download the whole music actually. How about giving this Leawo YouTube Downloader a try?

Leawo YouTube Downloader acts far more than a single online video downloader to download YouTube videos and other online videos from various video sharing sites like Facebook, Dailymotion, AOL, iFilm, Myspace, Dailymotion, etc. Besides the ability to download online flash videos, this FLV downloader could also acts as video download accelerator to speed up online video downloading, video accelerator to speed up video buffering for smooth playback, video player to play back videos, and IE browser to browse online videos for free downloading. It could extract audios out of online videos, like converting YouTube video to MP3. With Leawo YouTube Downloader, watching online videos offline anytime anywhere is just a piece of cake.

Hope it helps. :) Watch online videos offline freely with Leawo YouTube Downloader

How to calm down stamerring

Sometimes our brains go faster than our mouths and, more often than not, we end up messing up what we're going to say. Usually, if you're super anxious and are a little iffy about talking to others, a deep breath and a slowed down tempo to your words is key.
One of the breathing technique says that you should relax and breathe normal and you should say only the first syllable while exhaling and then breathing again and deliver the rest. It sounds hard, but it's easy once you get the hang of it.
You need to be able to tell yourself to physically relax and remember to breathe. It sounds silly reminding yourself to breathe, but without enough breath, you're not going to say your sentence like how you want to.
Practice speaking. Try breathing exercises/meditating. Read books out loud. Have longer conversations with people. (the last one may make you a little nervous but a small "hello" will help your confidence, heaps!)
Try some rhythm in your speech, perhaps? Like you know how some singers that stutter, immediately lose their stutter when they sing? If you're not into singing too much, try speaking on pitch or giving your words an oratory quality. (like martin luther king, barack obama for instance.)
Pause when talking as much as you need to.
Here's a little video on how to control your stuttering if you want:

Stuttering videos on you tube

It's because the video isn't downloading fast enough. When a video starts playing just hit the pause button ( || ) and do something else for 2 or 3 minutes or so. When you come back, you will see that the red line has advanced most if not all the way to the right. Then hit the play button ( > ) and your video will play without stuttering or freezing.

I want to download music videos from youtube and play on my nokia E-72. how i do it ? the problem i have is when i copy mp4 files to the phone. they open but there is only sound but no video and the files...

Hi there,

There is a free website that allows you to download Youtube videos. The website is called KeepVid from there you just copy + paste the Youtube video link and it will allow you to download it in either .FLV or .MP4 formats and both in different levels of quality.

Now, .MP4 formats are usually recognisable by Nokia phones with the pre-installed RealPlayer application. Watching .FLV will require you to download a third party application on your phone, normally just Google for a free one.

If RealPlayer doesn't play the .MP4 files you have downloaded, then I suggest you Google for a free video program compatible with the latest Nokias.

There are two that I use myself for my Nokia N95 8Gb, one called SmartMovie and the other is CorePlayer. SmartMovie plays all .AVI files and .MP4 files while CorePlayer plays .AVI, .MP4 and even .MPG files.

.MP4 files are naturally large due to the encoding, the videos you download of Youtube are usually 20mb for a 3 min 30 sec clip.

Hope I have been of assistance to you,

Cheers :)

1. Open your web browser.

2. Goto Tools >> Internet Options.

3. Delete all Cookies, Temporary Files and History.

4. Apply the settings and restart the browser.

* If still having problems, the reason is busy YouTube server! You should try to 'Refresh / Reload' the page!

What problem is youtube having?

when you watch a video it will play faster than its coming through.
so what you need to do is as soon as you pick a video to watch pause it and you should see the red bar keep moving.
once its got a head start you can watch the video but if you catch it up it will stop for a while.

what i do is let the red bar get right to the end and then watch the video trouble free.

Thanks for using fixya...

It's most likely the video card in your computer is not fast enough to handle the video. Try the same thing on another computer (hopefully one with a faster/newer video card).
