chanels numbers and volume bar is there plus we can play around with the menu.

Where should I start?

-   tv shows locked on screen, unable to get to menu with remote or by tv menu button-   ebennett911

-   I have he same exact problem. Hitachi 51F59J - Came on just fine, as usual, then slowly faded away (vgideo & audio). Power seems to work fine. Can manipulate menu, volume, channels, etc., just no video or audio.

What is up? My TV is onloy 2 years old.
