Question about Canon PowerShot G7 Digital Camera
One minute i am looking at pictures. turned it off then on again but it would not start. After read some of the other problems on this board someone mentioned a loose screw. Sure enough i give he camera a shake and there is a loose screw inside the camera. Any one know if Canon has issued a recall?
There's no recall on this problem, it usually happens if the camera was previously dropped or had a good bump, that vibration is what loosens those screws. If you go to: www.camerasandparts.com they specialize in Service for the Canon Powershots and they are amazing if you need service for one of these. They actually have this exact no power problem on their site for your model so you can get it taken care of for very little and have the camera serviced up completely. They even include the correction so the problem never comes back which is great. Try that site, that's where a lot of people go for help with the Powershots, good luck
