I have a vx6000 microsoft lifecam webcam. I installed all the software and that's working on my windows XP service pack 2. But when I plug in the webcam it displays the error message 'there is no camera connected to this computer'. So I went on device manager and it had a yellow question mark displayed with an exclamation mark over the top, with USB20 camera. I tried to update the driver but it says I need an installation disk which I don't have and the message appears as follow 'The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)'. Does anyone know what this means and what I have to do to get the webcam to work? I downloaded the driver detective and downloaded the drivers for the webcam however they won't update and it still says 'there is no driver for this device'. Does anyone know how to get the webcam to work and be picked up?
Thanks
