There should be a small round connector on the rear of the turntable for the mains transformer supply and the loose wire is the earth/ground connector which should be connected to the screw connection on the rear of your amplifier? just loosen the screw ( usually brass or steel ) on the back of the amp, wrap the thin earth wire around the thread making sure it has some exposed copper ie, strip a bit of the cable and then tighten it back up? good luck

Hi!
You can play audio equipment like turntable, MD player, mobil phone ( headphone output). You must connect the equipment to the Video/AUX jack, Press Video/AUX then play the connected equipment.

Aiwa NSX-A-J800 Manual

Retrevo has the manual for the Aiwa NSX-AJ800 Stereo System here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/Aiwa-NSX-AJ800-manual/id/1076dj383/t/2/ . You will need to enter a code to download the pdf.

I hope this helps.

I want to play my music from my itouch on my Aiwa NSX-TR77 system (because of the speakers) but do not know how to, or if this is even possible to do so?

It is in fact possible... you can play whatever source to whatever sound system with the correct cable... you need a cable with at one end a headphone output connector (compatible with your Itouch) to an input of your choice on the Aiwa system... usually RCA input (RED & WHITE RCA type connectors) at the other end of the cable...

What type of cord do i need to connect my subwoofer to the aiwa XR-EM20 stero system i bought a adapter and the red and white plug ins fit in my subwoofer but the the other side that supposed to plug into...

The picture is unclear what size that is but they make adapters for RCA-Stereo-Cable-pair-to-single RCA (Y-adapter) or to smaller 3/16" mono or stereo jacks.

The manual in case you need it. No guidance on operating the optional sub.

Your unnamed sub's manual should have some advice, huh?

When plugging in system will light up for a second and shut down what is the problem

aiwa stereos were notorious for having poor solder connections ,especially on their regulators , if you have solder experience i would do a visual look for poor solder

Hello. A dog chewed the falt cable that connects the RX-NAVH80 to the FD-NH80. Is there a replacement cable available anywhere? If so, do you know what the cost might be> Thanks. Russ RussRossRR@aol.com

The company, Aiwa, is defunct. Parts & support, therefore, are zip. I used Gorilla tape to bind the cable ends together. It works as long as there is no movement to the cable. Best solution: time to shop for a new stereo.

Audio Connection For GT-USB Turntable

The red/white plugs on the cable are called "RCA jacks", you'll need to get an adapter which will convert the rca jacks into one stereo pin jack to plug into the input jack of your computer

hopefully u didnt get the male 1/8"-male 1/8" adapter (aka.. headphone-headphone sized jack)

..what u need is the headphone sized jack (that plugs into your ipod) with an end that is RCA stereo (red n white) these go in the back of the stereo...

hook everything up, and voila...

(no need to tell u what u already know, as far as pressin aux.. and all that..)
