Question about GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher
A dishwasher is like a car and needs to be used once in a while. If you put your car in the garage and don't try to start it for a year, chances are, it will not start. A dishwasher should have at least some water in the pump to prevent the seals from dryng up. If there are any food particles in stagnant water, they will start to grow into a science project given enough time. I have replaced countless dishwashers for people who spend their winters in Florida then come home to a dead or leaking dishwasher.
Hope this helps, Ken
