Question about Washing Machines
I'm trying to figure out wht size of standby generator I need for my house. Part of that "equation" is understanding the starting and running AC power needs of the appliances in my home. Can you help with the power ratings for my HE3T washer? Thanks Kevin
You are not really going to run everything in the house while using your washing machine, isn't it? If your machine runs on 1 horse power (HP) motor (which is unlikely), thats already 746 watts. say you are running some little wattage appliances say total of 1,000 watts. Double that figure and you get 2kw. A 2kva to 3kva generator would be ideal...got plenty clearance for unexpected load.
