Use ?Reset_Access? utility and check all other anti-spyware solution as most probably other application (SpyBot, Spyware Terminator, ?) has blocked the access during installation copy paste the following url in the address bar of your browser and run the file. If this doesnt fix the problem try uninstalling and reinstalling avg. http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/support/reset_access_avg8_en.exe
