Velocity cruz not charging

The charger can be tested for proper voltage coming out in most cases- either the battery is bad, the charger, or the connection where the charger connects to the unit.

My old 611 dosent hold the battery charge for long even though I have put in a new battery

An in car charger will not charge as well as the mains, when charging for the first time you should use the mains, and charge for at least 8 hours. If it didn't charge correctly, it will be the same low charge all the time, as the battery has a memory that makes it charge the same each time. Try charging from the mains, you might be lucky.

My Tomtom 300 Go won't charge?

It appears that the battery will not hold a (good) charge anymore. If it is still under warranty, contact TomTom to address that problem. They may replace the unit for you.
It is not unusual for (rechargeable) batteries to loose it's capability to hold a good charge if it is plugged in (to a power source) all the time, even while it is not in use.

My phone wont charge i always have to put it in a different position too get it too charge wats wrong with it?

Hi, there are two things you will need to test for ,

The charger and the charging port.

The charger of the phone might not be contacting properly causes it to fail or loose contact, that might be the reason it needs to be position properly before it charges.

You can use another charger to see how firm it will on another phone, so that you can be able to know if you will need to replace the charger with another one.

The charger port is where you plug in the charger to the phone for the phone to be able to charge.
Sometimes if the charging port is weak, itmight not be able to hold the charger properly,it will be failing contact.

Also you can use another charger to test with your phone and see how firm it holds on the phone and if it will charge the phone without failing.

I guess when you test for the charger and the charging port, problem will be solved.

Feel free to pass your comment.

Thanks for using fixya....

How can we charge the Garmin in the house and how long does it take to charge in the car ours is the 1350 model

You can buy a mains charger from any shop that sells garmin satnavs to charge it in the house. Or you can charge it by connecting it to your computer with the mini USB lead. Charging with a computer takes about 8 hours while charging with a car charger or a mains charger takes about 4 hours.

It wont come on

Hello :

Have you charged it using the main charger? It's possible that just being connected to the PC isn't supplying enough power to get it properly charged. Try disconnecting it from the PC, plugging it into the charger and the charger into the wall and leave it for a while. Then try to turn it on. Do you have a car charger? Try that instead. If that didn't help , then I recommend you to replace the battery .

Tomtom910 won't turn on. I replaced the battery, charged it and now it won't turn on.

Try doing a reset. The reset hole is on the bottom of the TT 910. Use a paperclip to do the reset. Gently push the paperclip into the hole until you feel a click the hold it for 30 seconds. That should do the trick, unless the unit is not actually charging. The green light will come on but not charge because of a bad connection on the motherboard on the negative side.

Tomtom wont charge.

If it is charging via a USB connection on your computer there is nothing wrong with the TT. It doesn't matter if you are trying to charge via USB, mains, or car charger the connection is the same for all in your TT. I would look elsewhere for the problem. More than likely your car charger is faulty.

TomTom910 not charging

This is a common problem with the 910. Try putting an obstacle in the way of the wire to keep it on. Better still is to not use the home dock at all. Just plug the home charger in to the windscreen mount (device connected of course!) and charge it that way. You get a better charge and it will stay on.
