- installed new black ink. printer would not print. got "general error" to foreign object from inside printer-found some grey plastic pieces that look like they broke off from inside printer. ink carriage does not move....can't print.

- Put new Black ink cartridge in machine and now it will not print. Paper does advance thru printer but no printing on page- GuestBest Solution

first disconnect the printer from the computer
then powercycle the unit and observe if it is recognizing the inks
if u get the red ink lights on, try re-seating the inks
if that doesnt work, contact manufacturer regarding the inks

I just changed all the ink , and it won't print. I have tried cleaning the head a few times, but still no print. It did make some black marks but no print. I tried copying some black print but still nothing. Hope you can tell me something . Thanks Randall
