The 8800 has a micro SD slot behind the battery cover ... you can plug in a micro SD and transfer your information ... the battery cover is sometimes difficult to get off ...

Phone says sd card is blank

I'd try it in a laptop or PC SD card reader. If the card still reads blank it is likely the data is corrupted. There are software recovery softwares many of them free that attempt and quite often successfully restore data from the card. If you can do this then save a copy on a PC and immediately format the SD card (FAT32).
Copy the saved data back to the SD card and reload in your phone to see if the phone can read it. If not, either the SD slot on your cell is damaged or the card may be damaged. A full phone reset should be your next port of call and then try the card again.

Fell over now makes a awful sound like its binding up. Ron

The fall may have damaged one of the pickup arms. I HIGHLY recommend that you get your data off of this drive and onto some safe media ASAP! The drive may stop working completely when you need it most. If an arm is damaged, or has scratched the surface of the disk, data has been lost and will be irrecoverable. Continuing to use the drive without having saved your data off, risks loosing it all unexpectedly.

I have 2 Sony PS2 memory cards but neither will save data at breaks in games. Am I doing something wrong ? I am new to gaming and have followed instructions without success. Help!!!

It could be that they were damaged in someway or the memory slot in the PS2 is broken. I've been able to fix mine by blowing into both openings, the slot and the card, but if that doesn't work, check the game it self to see. Usually the game will say something like "Saving Data-Please Do Not Turn Off System Or Remove Memory Card". If it isn't saying that, it probably hasn't saved at all.

I downloaded the update but the pc cannot open the file . the updater is called eboot. i have it in my pc but cannot open it

The file is not supposed to be opened by your PC. You have the transfer the file from your PC to the PSP. To do this, you need a USB cable and you have to plug your PSP into your PC.

Download procedure
  1. Prepare to save the update data on either system storage or Memory Stick Micro™ (M2)™ media, using one of the following methods:
    • Connect the PSP® system to the PC using the USB cable
    • Connect a commercially available Memory Stick USB reader/writer to the PC
    • Use the Memory Stick slot on a PC
  2. Create a folder for the update data on either system storage or Memory Stick™ media.

Using your PC, create a folder named "PSP". Within the "PSP" folder, create a folder named "GAME". Within the "GAME" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE". (Folder names must be in all uppercase letters).
  3. Download the update data for the PSP-N1000 (PSP®go) series and save it in the "UPDATE" folder created in step 2.

Notice
You must save the downloaded data as noted in these instructions. If you do not save in the correct location and with the filename shown below, the system will not recognize the update data.
  • Location: Save in the "UPDATE" folder
  • Filename: Save as filename "EBOOT.PBP"

I need to know the steps to save data onto usb memory stick from accounting program

I suggest that you save your data with Simply Accounting and know where you save it. In window explorer, find the file you saved and copy it to the USB memory stick. You should see the USB memory stick as another drive in Windows Explorer. After the copy is complete, Click the USB memory stick and you should see the file. This way, the copy (back up) is confirmed.

How do i download saved singstar performances onto a usb data st

If possible, go into your media library and save them to a flash drive. Then take them to your PC and transfer them to any folder you like, preferably a folder specifically marked for PS3 stuff. I'm assuming that the videos are actually saved in the video folder on the PS3, but if they aren't they are probably in your saved data. Either way, you can transfer them to you PC freeing up space to save more on the PS3 system. I have done this myself with other saved data as well as video and haven't had any problems moving them back and forth.

That's the best way to do over your PC to your USB. Create a folder on the storage media in which to save the update data.
Using a PC, create a folder named “PS3” on the storage media or USB device. Within the PS3 folder, create a folder named “UPDATE”.
  • Download the update data and save it in the UPDATE folder created in step 1. Select here to start the download.
Notice
Be sure to save the update data as noted below. If the data is not saved in the correct way, the PS3™ system will not recognize the update data.
  • Location: Save in the “PS3” folder > “UPDATE” folder
  • File name: Save as file name “PS3UPDAT.PUP”.
    Update procedure
Notices
  • Do not turn off the PS3™ system or remove the storage media or USB device during an update. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system software may become damaged, and the system may require servicing or exchange.
  • The power button on the PS3™ system front is not active during an update.
  1. Insert the storage media or USB device that contains the update data in the PS3™ system.
  2. From the home menu, select (Settings) > (System Update), and then press the button

  3. Select [Update via Storage Media], and then press the button.

The system automatically searches for and finds the update data saved on the storage media or USB device.

  4. Start the update data.

Press the button to start the update data. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

  5. Confirm that the update was successful.
After the update has been completed, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [System Information]. If the System Software field displays the version number of the update, the update was successful.
Hint
You can delete the update data from the storage media or USB device after the update has been successfully completed.
