Well my daughter has had this 15" TV for less then a year and when she turns it on it works fine and then anywhere from 1 minute to to 2 hours she will lose the picture but she still has sound.Any ideas what could be wrong?
I would check the output of whatever component is feeding the TV with video to make sure it is not that component. If it is still happening then make sure it is properly cooled. If it is still occurring, then I would say the TV is bad.

I have the P50HDTV20A. When I turn mine on I get sound but no picture but if I leave it on for about 15-20 mins and then turn off then back on it will have picture and sound. It seems as though as something has to warm up so the picture will come on.
It looks like your TV might have a main board failure if the screen stays white without video. Since your TV is less then a year, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get fix under warranty. Most electronics devices carry one year warranty.
With the price of the new tv's, I would recommend getting a new tv. It's only a 19" and you can get a flat panel 19" for less than $ 200.00 It may cost you $ 100 plus to get it repaired along with any new parts. If you want to spend less money try looking at the yard sales, people are always selling used TV's for cheap.
I have a sansui 19" LCD TV+DVD I had to attempt multiple times turning the TV on to get a picture. The sound was fine. This kept happening when I would go to turn on the set the TV kept playing fine with picture & sound but after the 2nd attemts I turned it off & then tried to turn it back on which took multiple attempts, it kept playing for a few minutes then the picture went out but the sound was still there. The set is not yet 2 years old.
These tv does have loose of audio problems im concern about looseing picture . Try unplugging tv for 5 minutes it will reset tv very common fix for audio. Tv that are less then a year old are sometimes covered under new warr call manufacture on that.
There is a microprocessor on these that lockup and when you unplug it. it resets it.
I have a tv shop and have helped customers get exchanges under a year especially if you complain
I am having the same problem with my RCA 32V550T. This has been the worst purchase I have ever made - it was an expensive TV at the time that I got it and it only worked for a few months. It may or may not come on. It may or may not have sound. It rarely works but If per chance it does come on it will work maybe from 15 mins to 2 hrs. depending on it's mood - yes I think it is possessed. It turns on and off at will. I keep it unplugged most of the time because I worry it may be a fire hazard. I have had it repaired but the problem persists. It's a useless but expensive heap of junk taking up space in my living room. I had a great RCA VCR that I bought many years ago but contemporary RCA products are not the quality they used to be - be smart and stay away from them.
