Water is filling the tub when not in use

One of the water inlet solenoid valves is faulty -- it's not closting when the "water-fill" function is off. The solenoid valves are the parts the hoses on the back of the wahser are connected to. There are two -- hot and cold.

Cleaning them and replacing wahsers / O-rings / gaskets may solve the problem or may need to be replaced. More info, let me know.

Water supply to my Bosch SHE43CO5UC/17 dishwasher seems interrupted and not being supplied to the unit. Water supply to the unit is checked and confirmed available. What are the possible causes, i.e. stuck...

Could be a dirty hose filter or faulty inlet valve. Ther could be a leak and the bottom of the unit has flooded activating the flood safety which will cut the water supply. The pressure chamber and/or the hose pressure chamber to sumo could be block (take of left side panel and these are at the bottom right). Finally, the aquastop (grey box connected to the mains water supply that feeds the d/w) could be activated, faulty or fitted in the wrong position
Hope this gives you some where to start..

Our dishwasher does not seem to be getting any

The anti flood device (polystireene plate and micro switch) when activated due to water leak on floor of washer, shuts off the water inlet valve and puts the drain pump on. Determine if any water has leaked to the floor of the washer and is activating this switch. Dry the water and rectify any leak. The water inlet valve (solinoid) could also be faulty although this is not common.

If for any reason (water leak)the anti flood device at the bottom of the washer is triggered it automatically stops the inlet of water via inlet solinoid and puts the washer in pump out mode. Check the float (polystireene plate with micro switch at the bottom of the washer). Dry any water and determine the reason for water and this should let water in again.

EXCESS WATER IN ICE MAKER FLOODS ICE TRAY

Probably the solenoid (electronic valve that opens when ice maker calls for water, located in the back of the fridge at the bottom behind the cardboard cover and is connected to the water supply line) is leaking and when the ice maker needs water the tray overflow .If this happend the solenoid has to be replaced. To be sure of this you turn off the ice maker and after a while look inside the tray and if you see water you 're sure the valve leaks. If the problem is not with the solenoid , it is with the ice maker module and to replace it will cost almost as to get a new ice maker.

Hello, Water is not getting from the solinoid to the ice maker. Please advise. Thanks, Stacey

Probably the solenoid is leaking and this water freezes up inside the filling tube for the ice maker and when it calls for water it can't get through in this case the solenoid has to be replaced.

Water solinoid staying closed when turned on

Usually energising electricity to a solenoid will allow the water to flow. Try your unit with the water line from the solenoid unattached. Then you will know when it is trying to get water to the ice maker.

This seems like the anti flood system (polystireen float / micro switch) at the base of the washer is triggered,\. This puts the washer in pump out mode and stops inlet of water via the inlet solinoid. Dry the water on the base and then check for any water leaks. (pipe leak
