AM radio always needs a larger, more open, without interferance antennas. your alarm should have came with a antenna shaped like a square that plugs into the back of the unit. if thats not installed then you will have bad reception.

Bad radio reception

This will be either bad antenna connection in the back of the receiver, bad antenna cable, insufficient or poor antenna type, or possibly a bad earth connection.

GE GSS25QSTSS no lights working on the water and ice dispenser. No light working, no ice dispenses or water. Tried unpluggin no luck

I would remove the bottom kick panel ( 1 screw on each side ) and follow the wires to the receptical ( about 5 inches from bottom of door ) . Wiggle the receptical , to see if any of the dispensor lights come on . Also try pushing the wires into the receptical farther . If still no lights , then the main control board behind the refrig ( behind 8" X 10 " panel ) is probably bad . No communication between the main board and dispensor board . Part number WR55X10942 . I have yet to come across a bad dispensor board , so , replace the main board first . If the receptical process doesn't work .

Reception on fm is not very good

Unfortunately there are only two real ways the reception could be "bad".

Either your MP3 player is a lemon itself (meaning a single defective product, in which case you can return it, if you bought it recently!)....OR, the more likely answer is that MP3 players with FM tuners generally don't have great reception.

I have run into one MP3 player that has pretty good reception, and that is the Zune. It lets you set presets and such as well. Hope that helps!

Bad reception w/ Panasonic RF-544

I solved the problem, but I did not "fix" the problem. Rather than rig an antenna to the old Panasonic RF-544 radio, I put it upstairs where it has good reception. I put the new Sony ICF-38 downstairs where it brings in the stations I listen to. The advertsizing claim for the Sony ICF-38 is that it has "Good Sound and High Sensitivity." I believe it does have "high sensitivity" because even in the basement it brings in my desired stations. (I am still curious to know if I could have rigged an antenna to the old Panasonic RF-544.) Radio Problem

There is not an easy answer for this one. Some troubleshooting needs to be done. I have seen the Rockford Fosgate system in many of the newer Sentra's. Try hooking a known working speaker to a nonworking position. This will tell if it is a speaker problem. If the problem persists, this could be stereo or amplifier.
Terrible reception troubleshooting, a bad antenna will give poor FM and no AM. If both have bad reception, this is a stereo problem. You can remove the stereo from the dash, place a small pick tool or screwdriver into the antenna jack and test reception. If the reception problem clears, this is a antenna problem. I have seen car detailers pull the connector from the rear window antenna and forget to plug it back in too.
