Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Jawbone original seems to go into sleep mode. If I have not received a call for a short time, the Jawbone seems to go into sleep mode and I am unable to answer an incoming call with it. I have to answer the call on the phone and then try transferring over to Jawbone. I also lose bluetooth connection during the middle of a call.....

I have a Jawbone and have not experienced those problems. You may have a connection issue with your phone. Maybe the way your blue tooth is set on the phone....power settings?

Kenmore 70121 air conditioner

There should be a sleep mode button on the remote. Press this then pres ok/enter.
Note: In this "MODE" the selected temperature will increase by 2 degrees F 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2 degrees F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature. This ends the "Sleep" MODE and the unit will continue to operate as originally programmed. The "Sleep" MODE program can be canceled at any time during operation by pressing; Sleep MODE, "On/Off", "Fan Only" or the "V//X" buttons, on either the Control or the Remote. "Time Delay Stop" limit reached will also end "sleep" MODE.

How do i pair my jawbone bluetooth headset to my envy touch?

I found this on another website and it worked for me.

"I was also having a lot of difficulty getting my Jawbone II or "new Jawbone" into pairing mode. I finally ended up carefully removing the outer plastic shield. It popped off without breaking anything and then I was able to easily press BOTH the noise shield button AND the talk button. With the plastic cover OFF, I was able to put my Jawbone into pairing mode on the FIRST TRY!"

Is the jawbone in pairing mode (this means either a solid light on the jawbone by pressing and holding the button. Or it could be a flashing light. The instruction that come with the Jawbone don't give exact instructions for making it go into pairing mode AFTER it's done it the first time... here is the way to do it on a new phone:

Iphone does not ring when in sleep mode

This seemed to work for me;
1.) Reset the phones network settings
2.) Reboot the phone
3.) Put the phone in airplane mode
4.) Reboot the phone
5.) Take the phone out of airplane mode
6.) reboot the phone.
I read this on another website, and it seemed to work for me.
To reboot the iphone hold down the sleep/wake button, and the home button at the same time for 6 seconds (until the apple logo appears).
Good Luck!!

HP monitor staying in sleep mode

I don't know if this qualifies as a solution or not, but to-date, the only solution I have found has been to never upgrade the video driver beyond the original "Spring 2007 Original NVIDIA Graphics Driver", installed via sp26865.exe that I got from HP support when my system was new. This file does not appear to be available now, but the support group may give it to you on special request.

Every time I "upgrade" the NVIDIA drivers, my monitor will not come out of sleep mode and only restoring to the original will work. I do not know if the upgraded driver fixes any of the advertised problems or not since I do not seem to suffer them.
