I had a desktop that used to do something similar, turned out to be a bad stick of RAM. check the memory and /or replace it with another and see how it goes.

Sorry the problem I described is not about a Projection Television but a computer crt vdu.

This could be if a crt unit either a weak crt that when it warms up comes up a bit----the chassis might also have inside on the flyback or elsewhere a master screen control which could be turned up slightly.

Least likely but possible is the filament voltage in the tube may be a bit low and usually comes off the high voltage or Flyback Transformer (same part).

Won't boot screen black

A black screen on startup can be so many things! I have learned this lesson the hard way. Never turn off the computer when it is half way through the boot procedure. Even when it is taking forever, or having a major problem you must let it run through if possible. Interrupting it once may be ok, but twice or three times is a no no. After you have carelessly restarted and shutdown a few times the black screen may appear. But this time it may be beyond repair for the average computer user. http://tips4pc.com/articles/computer%20troubleshooting/how_to_repair_a_damaged_boot_sec.htm

Doesnt go to the start page

I would recommend that you try to boot the computer in Safe Mode. This will load the basic drivers and few programs, allowing you to determine if there is a hardware or software issue preventing the machine from performing a standard bootup.

Step 1. Remove any discs in the CD/DVD drives.

Step 2. Power off your computer.

Step 3. Disconnect all devices from your computer except the power cable.

Step 4. Power on your computer, and press the F8 button every second or so until you are brought to the Windows Safe Mode screen.

Step 5. Select the Safe Mode (without networking) option and hit Enter.

Step 6. The machine will then begin to load with the most basic drivers and basic programs.

Step 7. Be patient during this time. It may appear that the machine is stuck. Give it up to 5 minutes.

Step 8. If your machine performs a successful boot, log on with an administrator account.

Step 9. On the Desktop, right-click on My Computer and select Manage.

Step 10. In the Manage Your Computer Console, in the left hand side, expand Event Viewer.

Step 11. Scan through the logs to see if there is any issues recorded during the last successful boot.

Step 12. If you find any issues, read through them carefully to see what they say.

Step 13. Restart your computer and let it perform a regular boot.

Step 14. If you expereince anymore issues, let us know.

Dell D600 Battery Causes Screen to go Black

Laptop batteries normally just last for a few years, depending on usage. If your battery is almost done, it may report a 'full' status, but just have the capacity to feed your laptop for a few minutes.

You may check this by disconnecting current while your laptop is started up. If low battery capacity is the cause, the same will happen within a few minutes.

Laptops normally go in standby on low battery, to avoid data loss.

Screen doesn't come on when I turn computer on

does your pc appear to boot up, do you hear a single bleep to confirm it has passed its BIOS checks.
Is your VDU in standby mode - ie is the power light either orange or flashing - if it is off then check the power cables and connections to the VDU - if the power light is light, check the vga cable to ensure it is plugged it at both ends and none of the pins are bent or damaged (don't be fooled some vga connectors do not have all of the available 15 pins in them) - if you have another PC or laptop you can plug the screen into it then try that to ensure it works - if it does then i suspect that your video card is faulty. check your manufacturers motherboard specification to see which card it can take and replace it

Free download for "MBP4I45GV"

The MBP4145GV you posted above is an Asrock P4145GV motherboard. It has two revisions.

1.Asrock P4145GV Revision 3.0
2.Asrock P4145GV Revision 5.0

On the motherboard it should have something printed like this,
P4145GV r3.0, or P4145GV r5.0

Look to see which revision you have, so you can get the correct drivers.

I typed Asrock P4145GV in my browser search bar just now, and the first search hit, was a page that takes you directly to Asrock-Support-Downloads, P4145GV.

When you get on this page, go to the far right and click on Downloads, across from the revision of Asrock P4145GV motherboard, you have.
I have been trying to post a link to this page, but cannot.

Toshiba Equium M50-192 Blank Screen when Boot

This sounds to be an issue with the processor. Try removing the processor, blowing it off, and reseating it firmly and properly. Put it back together and see if this cures it. Keep in mind that a malfunctioning processor can cause an overheating problem just as easily as a fan or heatsink.

Konica minolta error

I had the same problem and found that one of the toner cartridges must have not been seated properly. I removed the black toner cartridge and re-fitted it. The printer now works fine again with no errors. 17H is a code relating to a fault in the rotation ......... possibly one or more toner cartridges need checking. Use the menu on the printer to turn it to the appropriate position (i.e. engine menu then select replacement of whichever toner you are checking).
Hope this fixes your as well.
