Re: trying to print off photo's
Sometimes you need to run a printer through multiple (manymanymany) cleanings and complete maintenence cycles for it to work. You may get rid of lines in one color then work on another color and the lines will return to the first again. Don't let your printer stay idle for long periods. The same with alignment cycles sometimes.

Are you sure your ink is not on the verge of finishing? Try changing the colour ink and print again. Sometimes I take the cartridge out, shake the ink down just in the same flashing motion as I do my pen, then replace it. You may try that.
try to do this first, try first to upgrade the firmware of your printer, by clicking help in your kodak AIO Home Center, then under General Links, click on maintenance, then under maintenance, click on firmware upgrade.
after the upgrade is complete, try to remove and then reseat both the ink cartridges. then calibrate your printer. and then clean the printhead deep clean. then print a demo page to see if there is any improvement in your printout.
but if your still experiencing the same problem you can call to Technical Support of kodak 1-800-421-6699 7am to 12am ET
I have a z600 that i use. If not used for about a month the ink does clog the print nozzles and eventually ink cartridge does dry out. To avoid this even if i dont have to print anything I run a diagnostics test that prints out a nozzle aligment test every two weeks. The great thing about this is that it uses very little ink.You can find this test in your software that was provided by Lexmark. This will keep your nozzles cleaned and you will notice this helps extend the life of your cartridge.
One of the best possible solution that we can suggest is to run a cleaning cycle for three times. Just to make sure that cleaning is effective please try the step below:
1. Using your computer go to printer utility.
2. Click on Maintenance then select Head Cleaning. Head cleaning usually took 1 minute.
3. Once the Head Cleaning is done Print a nozzle pattern to check whether the head cleaning is effective or not.
Repeat those steps for 3 times. If the nozzle pattern after 3 cleaning cycles still bad. Reseat ink cartridge if possible replace the ink cartridges.
After all those steps and issue still present printer needs to be in service.
