1600 problem why there is no name appear from the sender in inbox,only the number from the sender appear and there is no name..

which mobile are you using? all the contact are appearing in numbers or some? may be you're having two different contacts with the same number

I have a Nokia N1600, but i wonder why it can't recognize sender name in SMS. If I save contacts with country code in front of contact number, it can do that. But when I remove the country code, the phone...

Nokia 1600 normally thus have two data storage, 1 from the sim card the other from the phone memory, you might accidenrally duplicated the names and number of your contacts thats why only number shows on the screen.

Go to menu, settings, phone setting, and LOOK for RESTORE FACTORY SETTING, code is 1234 , that the default code for all nokia cellphone

u saved the number twice. u should save them with only one name or u save them in sim n phone together. save the no. only in sim or only mobile.
