Setting the time on a Kenwood KDC-MP2035

I just baught a Kenwood KDC-MP2035 and read through the manual. After trying to learn all of its functions, I can not figure out exactly how to change the time ... and I followed the manual to the best of my understanding.

Make sure the power is off before setting the clock (hold down the "FUNC" button until nothing shows but the time). Then Hold down one of the buttons on the right side for like 3 seconds until the time starts blinking. I can't remember which button it is as I don't have the unit in front of me right now. Use the track buttons to adjust the time. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately Kenwood codes are only available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)

How do i set the time and how do i play my ipod (when i have it connected).

Here is the owners manual for your model of Kenwood receiver - fresh off the Kenwood site:

it looks like the clock setup information is on page 20
and the aux/ipod input setup info is on page 21

Kenwood KDC-MP2035 cd player has power and everything functions but there is no sound. The 10A fuse in the unit is good.

make sure that the power output is enabled. this will turn on you internal amp. I have the same unit and I fouund this to be a problem. If this does not work your out put amps might be fried. good luck.

I have a Kenwood kdc-mp2035 and it says protect on the screen and plays no music. how do i get rid of that so i can listen to my music again????

You can try pressing the reset button, worked for me for months but now, for me, the "PROTECT" never goes away... But the reset button worked for months, give it a try!

Kenwood KDC-MP235 has Loudness option? : Manual

No "LOUD" per se, however selectable gains at differet frequency ranges will give you the same effest. Please see manual to adjust properly.

KDC-MP2035 Issue

According to the Manual, which is here, you need to ENABLE to AUX thru the Menu Setting.

Instructions begin on Page 18.
