Well you should have an ide cable with 2 connectors, the master being the very end and the slave on the center connector. so i'm not sure which cord you're talking about but if it's for CDA i reccomend only connecting the most used ROM to the sound card. there is really no reason to hook up both.

I have a HP Pavilion p6110f Desktop with the video signal that goes in and out..

Buy a Graphic Card PCI e x16 compatible. Install, Move the monitor cable to the new card connection and your good to go, with better graphics. If you haven't installed a Graphics Card before, do a little research. Take a look at this for example: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01684404&tmp_task=useCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3970026

Sounds like your video card to me. If you have an add-on card, it can be replaced. If you have one that is integrated into the motherboard, you can add a card if you wish. I'd go for a new motherboard. If one part of the board failed, what is next?

Where is connection for hp pavilion p6110f to tv

Unless you have a dedicated video card (which is NOT included on the stock model of this PC, you'd have had to have added it after buying) there isn't one. Check your TV for a VGA connection (a blue connector, like your monitor) and if it doesn't have one, you're out of luck.

There is a single wire with a small 4 pin connector that is not connected in the tower on my GH22NP20 CD/DVD burner and I dont know what it plugs into.

that wire is for the analog out of the DVD/CD drive it can be connected to *********** board or sound card but is not required because most people use software that uses a digital signal

Want to add 2nd cdrom

In order to burn from CD to CD you don’t need a second CD-ROM. Nero will save the CD image on the hard drive and then will ask you to put a blank CD and record the image from the hard drive to the CD.
To install a second CD-ROM use the same bus to the hard drive and set the jumper to “slave”. Good luck.

No DVD sound LiteOn LH-20A1L

The audio lines from the DVD player should be hooked up to the sound card.  If the two audio wires are not connected, no audio will happen.

Hp motherboard startup problem!!

hmmm my sussgestion in yourr case is that, don't attach all things at once. do the following step bye step.

Step 1). Attach SMPS (power supply to the board), Front Panel Connectio, and an in built speaker and CPU (don't add RAM, HDD, FDD, VGA Card or any thing els)

Power on and watch/Listen carefully:

Case 1: if you can hear a long beep, then your CPU and board is OK

Case 2: No beep means CPU or board is faulty. Try to Reconnect CPU again and do step 1.

Step 2) Now power off and add RAM only.

Power on and watch/Listen carefully.

Case 1: if you can hear the ok beep it means till now your RAM is Ok
otherwise clean your RAM connection and add it again.

Further you can add your VGA, HDD CD-ROM/DVD, PCI Devices etc. and easily short-out your problem.
For your help here is picture of general moherboard with connection details. 86c6af2.jpg
Thanks
Iqbal

it sounds like you have an externally amplified system and the amplifier remote switching wire is connected to the electric aerial output which is a blue wire and it should be connected to the amp remote wire which is a blue with a white trace
