Check the rear (away from control panel) end of the conveyor, at either side is some alen key set screws, in you gear bag that came with it is a really long (6 inch/ 150 mm approx) alen key and you ajust each screw evenly to take up slack/tension or individual if you need to align it.

Why is my proform 5.0 crosstrainer is slipping

if your walking belt is slipping it has loosened up. there are two adjustment bolts on the end of the treadmill. one on either side. these are allen heads. tighten clockwise to remove the slack. first start with treadmill running at 2 mph. tighten both one full turn. let belt adjust. check the centering of the belt. whichever side it is closer to tighten that side about a half turn. let belt adjust after each adjustment for a min.once belt is centered and if it still slips tighten both bolt evenly

Belt stops when stepped on

sounds like the belt is loose.there are bolts at the back on either side that tighten or loosen the belt.adjust with belt running about 3mph. tighten both bolts about 1/4 turn each while watching the belt to make sure it is centered. give it about 15 seconds after you tighten to see the adjustment that u make.the walking belt should only be able to lift up a little bit like 1 inch. you shouldn't be able to get ur hand all the way under belt (not running of course).

Nordic track c2000 belt slips

I would try to tighten the rear roller a little and see if that helps.
1 start the treadmill and operate it at 1.5 mph then hild onto the handle bar and plant your foot against the belt at the front. If it slips tighten the roller 1/4 turn on each side. Then try the slip test again and repeat the process, do not tighten it too tight that will cause the belt to fold in teh center and be ruined. You May quite possible need a new belt. Take the belt lose and look at the underside and see if it;s glazed (shinny) or has pieces missing under the center of the belt, if so replace the belt and also clean the rollers front and rear, also flip the deck over it shoudl have a wax coating on the other side if that hasn;'t already been done.

What lubricant can be used on the Horizon T92 Treadmill

Go to then click on e-store then look for part and accessories the silicon lubricant to purchase. Follow this procedure before applying lubricant.
1. Inspect belt and deck. The deck should be smooth. The belt should have a consistent feel from side to side (a belt can be worn out without any sensory signs of a problem). If you feel deep grooves in the deck or uneven wear on the underside of the belt, part replacement is necessary. Continued use of your treadmill may damage expensive electrical components.
2. To inspect the belt and deck visually or to clean underneath the belt before applying lubricant, the belt must have the tension reduced. Loosen the tension roller by following the instructions in your owner’s manual. Do not loosen the bolts in the tension roller too far or the bolts will come out of the roller shaft. This step may not be necessary for your treadmill model or belt and deck condition.
3. Contaminants are the worst enemy of your belt and deck. Some treadmills may have an excessive accumulation of dirt and contaminants. If these are trapped during the belt lube process, significant damage will occur. If contaminant removal is necessary, loosen the belt by following step 2, lay the treadmill on its’ side, and use a nylon brush to loosen contaminants that have accumulated on the inside of the belt. Clean the deck with mineral spirits in a well-ventilated area. Allow the deck to dry before lubing or tightening the belt.

I have a Nordic Track treadmill C1800. When first

You have 1,2 or maybe 3 problems. 1st is you need to remove the cover over the motor. The belt that the motor turns may be slipping. You need to loosen the bolt that keeps the tension on the drive belt. Push down to tighten manually and then tighten bolt. While your in there you should check the drive belt for wear. If you have used the treadmill a lot it may need replacement. $20 from The walking belt if badly worn can be replaced for like $99 but probably is fine. put all back together and tighten tension. Should be able to lift walking belt 3 to 4 inches from center sides. Any less and its too tight. Its probably better to just replace the drive belt anyway. This should work. Do not over tighten ever. This is the cause of most problems.

Belt slipping

Here are two solutions one is to get the belt centered on the treadmill and the other is to tighten the belt.

There should be two bolts in the rear of the treadmill, one on each side. These bolts adjust the rear roller of the treadmill. The walking belt will always go to the side that is looser. To get the belt back on track, (if you can start the treadmill so the belt is running) tighten the bolt on the side that the belt has slipped to. Tighten the bolt a little bit at a time. If you tighten the bolt too much, then the belt will go to the other side.

To tighten the belt, start by locating the two bolts that adjust the rear roller (one on each side of the unit in the back). Run the unit at about 3 mph. Tighten the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time. Make sure that what you do to one side, you MUST do to the other side or the belt will get off center. After you tighten it 1/4 turn, check the belt to see if it is still slipping. If it is then tighten the belt 1/4 turn again. Continue until the belt does not slip, but do not tighten the bolts more than 2 full turns.
